The breather bags can be used for handling and shipping live aquatic animals and plants. A unique ethylene plastic in the bag allows the carbon dioxide build up in the water to be exhaled through the walls of the bag and at the same time inhales oxygen into the bag. This means animals will not be suffocated due to lack of oxygen. Furthermore, the aquatic animals can stay in the bags for longer periods of time during shipment.
